Find the audio
Zoom’s computer recordings can include an audio file next to the video. Use that one. VoiceStudio opens audio files, not MP4 video.

Only have a video?
Meeting recordings often come as a video file only. Convert it to M4A, MP3 or WAV with an audio converter you trust, then continue.

Go easy on noise removal
Meeting apps often clean the audio already. Start Noise Suppression around 60% and only raise it if noise remains. Too much makes voices thin.

Even out the speakers
Some people are loud, some are far from the mic. In Advanced, turn the compressor up so quiet voices come forward.

Trim small talk
Select the waiting-room chat at the start or the goodbyes at the end and press Delete. Ctrl+Z undoes.

Call recording gives a compact 16 kHz mono MP3. Choose Podcast instead if the meeting will be published.

Questions
Can I open a Zoom MP4 directly?
Not yet. VoiceStudio opens audio files only. Use the audio file from the recording, or convert the MP4 to audio first.
Does this work for Google Meet and Teams recordings too?
Yes, once you have the audio as a file. Meeting recordings are usually videos, so save the sound from them first.
Is it safe for confidential meetings?
Your recording is processed in your browser on your own computer. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
How do I remove background noise from a Zoom recording for free?
Open the recording’s audio in VoiceStudio and keep the Clean Voice preset. It removes the noise in your browser, with no signup and no limit. Choppy sound from a bad connection cannot be fixed, though: it was lost before the file was saved.
Will it make a transcript?
No. VoiceStudio has no transcription. A cleaner file can still help when you run it through a transcription tool afterwards.
Can I clean up several meetings at once?
Not in one go. Open and export them one at a time.
